Physical theatre is a way of making theatre in which the body, with its gestures, is the main tool to tell stories, express emotions and give shape to ideas. Drawing from different disciplines such as mime, dance, circus and street theatre, physical theatre aims to create an intense, direct and engaging language.
In the workshops we move and play, we listen to ourselves, to others and to everything: it is a constant exercise of presence and sensitive openness to what happens. Together we create a safe space by trusting each other and leaving aside the fear of making mistakes. Everyday masks fall away in order to experiment with new ways of being, of being together, of telling our stories.
We work with games of rhythm, movement and presence, group and individual dynamics. We let ourselves be carried by imagination, writing and theatrical play, rediscovering that authentic and spontaneous lightness from when we were children.
Whenever possible, we step out of the room: bringing our bodies to tell stories in the spaces of the city or in nature, which occasionally become our stage.
Thank you for sowing magic in this group, for guiding us to open up to one another. Overcoming the fear of showing ourselves authentically, with our own lights and shadows.

Margherita is pure energy. She’s emotionally connected to herself and the people she meets. She gives and receives unconditionally. Experiencing her is enriching for me: she manages to captivate me with her contagious enthusiasm.
– Giordana
Thank you for truly seeing me, for grasping what is screaming inside me, despite the masks I wear to hide it.
– Manuela
Margherita is an engaging and empathetic teacher who blends theatrical techniques with fun games that are extremely useful for building compassion, harmony, and intimacy within the group. The two years with her were a wonderful experience that enriched me and allowed me to shake off age-old rigidities.
– Massimiliano
Thank you for sensing the discomfort of being face to face with my body and for encouraging me to let it go, let it be, as it is.
– Sara
Thank you for helping me on this journey within myself, between my personal feeling of always being “outside” and the feeling of being part of a choir.
– Chiara
I owe a lot to the experience I had during the physical theatre course with Margherita. It made me discover things about myself that I didn’t know, it helped me get through dark moments, it helped me believe a little more in myself and in my abilities. It made me understand that putting yourself out there helps you grow!
